Our Story

FARM HOME CO. WAS ESTABLISHED IN 2016 BY LISA & TYSON BRY, A VERMONT-BASED DESIGN/BUILD HUSBAND & WIFE DUO, WHEN THEY PURCHASED A “FIXER-UPPER” IN STOWE VT, NOW LOVINGLY REFERRED TO AS ‘THE FARM HOME’.

The couple first laid eyes on an old farmhouse in February 2016. Beyond the rotted sills and clapboards, they were entranced by the character within the walls and unlocked a project of a lifetime. As two young dreamers, they got to work restoring this old beauty one board and square nail at a time. There was a perfect balance of authentic storytelling, documenting the renovation highs + lows on Instagram @thefarmhome, which gained an audience and the start of an interior design career.

Their passion for restoration ultimately led them to start Farm Home Co. - a combination of boutique lodging & design studio, which transitioned into their online and brick & mortar shop Farm Home Marketplace at 25 Main Street in Stowe. Today, the shop is their way of making unique home design more approachable for customers looking to emulate the modern farmhouse style in their own homes.
