These late 19th-century jugs were once indispensable vessels in the Provençal kitchen. Hand-thrown from durable stoneware, these jugs were most commonly used for storing and transporting olive oil. Its rounded shoulders, tapering base, and small loop handles reflect a traditional French silhouette. Earthy clay tones — warm ochres, browns and muted greys — paired with drippy glazes, speak to its timeworn history.
